Here’s a client journey of a large financial organisation where we were able to implement assessments for about 10,000+ geographically diverse employees across different levels of the organisation in less than 2 months.

Project Brief:
Owning to their large geographically spread workforce and traditional talent management process, the organisation was facing issues implementing employee development plans across their 70,000 employees (only 200-300 employees would be nominated for the employee development plan). For some of their business segments, no investment in terms of employee development was made in the last 5-6 years. Given these factors, the solution required a more comprehensive, lucid and innovative approach.
Our Approach
- The development plan consists of a phased-out 4-month learning journey which included assessments across levels through multiple tools, feedback for senior level by seasoned assessors from the industry, followed by a comprehensive IDP (individual Development Plan) . All participants also had access to functional and behavioural learning content packaged together in the form of learning journey.
- To manage scale, the assessments were conducted in multiple cohorts to ease flow of communication.
- All of these solutions were delivered through a single integrated platform with a single login and the process was completely virtual.

Key Highlights
- We were able to address the ‘Development for All’ need of the client.
- To ensure ease of navigation all participants were sent videos on the platform walk through leading to almost no human interaction.
- Support and personalisation at scale – Support extended to even weekends and after office hours. Owing to the employees’ varied work type, most employees would access the exercises over weekends or after office hours. Think Talent consultants also coordinated with each participant for role play exercises; all conducted virtually over telephones.
- Designing for scale – Considering the scale as well as strict technology and bandwidth requirements of client, our platform was optimised to consume bandwidth as low as 50kbps.

Success Levers & Outcome
This seamless flow from assessment to development planning helped the client implement their employee development program at scale which was easier, efficient as well as cost and time effective while providing an engaging experience to their employees.
- Every participant were provided with detailed competency-wise inputs synthesized from various exercises. In addition to the Report, there were individual feedback session and explainer videos to support participants assimilate key individual development insights and also address any issues or questions related to application of these insights in their day-to-day work.
- The IDP platform provided individualistic development focus areas recommended for the level as per the assessment outcomes, however the goals can be edited as well as new goals added to make the experience completely bespoke.
- Learning content which would give the freedom to reflect on ones own path and journey rather than focusing on following a set pattern.
